Printing on sticky notes

Stacey who is in our 5/6 team showed me some pins that shared printing on sticky notes - I started to hyperventilate! I could see so many possibilities for this that would save me so much time.

Apologies to the original pin - as I don't have the link Stacey shared with me -(but click here for one link)

So I am trying to organise myself and I have organised my kids in groups so that they can conference with me each week - this might keep me on task.

So to start you need to organise a template that has text boxes the same size as the sticky notes you have.
Organise the text and any graphics you want.
Do a test print.
I then made the actual text box have no outline, that way the next print doesn't have the outline. This is important as you use the template many times.

Attach the sticky note in each box, make sure that it covers the text underneath.
Please ensure you have secured the sticky note as you do not want it coming off in your printer - unless you are a thrill seeker!

Use the template over and over again, by placing new sticky notes each time and re feeding into your printer.

Then check that the paper is in your printer the right way to enable the sticky note to be printed correctly.
Press print and you will then have your own custom made sticky notes.

I have then placed the notes in my teacher planner - ready to go for next term.
You may have noticed that as well as groups of kids, I have recorded days that agendas, newsletters etc need to be done.
Plus I am working on text genre sticky notes.
