Today there were thousands of teachers, principals and support staff taking stop work action. Is it about pay? - maybe but not really. We have been campaigning for nearly two years. Our Premier promised that we would have certain things happen and we have none of them.There have been massive cuts to TAFE, VCAL, Regional Offices and we have had enough. It is about too many contract teachers, performance pay that will stop collaboration, not being respected and funding cuts. Some schools were shut for the first time - a strong message.
