I have a post that is not school related.
My daughter is in Year 10 and doing Year 11 VCE Japanese.
So at the moment we have an exchange student staying with us from Japan and we are enjoying sharing the things we do - eat and have.
Our food is very different to what she is used to.
We have had fish and yes they have even had McDonalds after a shopping trip.
We have taken her shopping and looking at what is in our supermarket - she loves strawberries.
The school has taken them to Sovereign Hill and we have taken her to the Wildlife Park.
Our koalas, kangaroos and wombats had her fascinated.
She has loved going to school with our daughter and we will miss her when she goes home on Sunday.
Tomorrow they go to Halls Gap, walking and sight seeing.
On the weekend we will take her to Melbourne to go shopping.
