DeAnne has posted one of my favourite link ups through her First Grade and Fabulous blog.
This linky was a bit tricky - to try to narrow down the books I use to teach about Character Education - what books help to make us better people, better friends, better family members and just better at being!
So here goes..........

My favourite book is 'Elmer" and is about accepting but more importantly celebrating being different.
The Pirates Next Door is also about acceptance.

Alison Lester and her 'Ernie Dances to the Didgeridoo" is about our indigenous people and acceptance also.
"Giraffes Can't Dance" is a funny favourite of mine about doing your best and being proud of who you are.
Then there is 'The Recess Queen" and the theme is bullying.
