We have been exploring Australian money and what it looks like, how we can make amounts with different denominations and how we can give change.
I have put together a pack that has an open ended task and during that time we have been doing Master Classes and teaching to point of need.
There have been students choosing an outfit - working out costs from catalogues online and comparing prices.
We have had some students calculating change to the nearest 5c and then some working out 10%, 25% and 50% and creating sale prices.
This week we will be finishing off our work by looking at other currencies and preparing some simple budgets.
