National Dairy Month

June is National Dairy Month in the USA.

National Dairy Month started out as National Milk Month in 1937 as a way to promote drinking milk.
It has  now become an annual tradition that celebrates the contributions the dairy industry has made.
National Dairy Month is a great way to look at nutrient-rich dairy foods.

Milk gives us calcium and potassium and  nine essential nutrients which may help to better manage our weight, reduce our risk for high blood pressure and osteoporosis.

There are some videos to watch with your grade at the end of this post.
